Studiohaus was built inside a working interior design studio — by the people running one — because no software existed that fit the specific shape of the work.
From the inside · Principle ii.A studio’s day, in four parts.
What comes in, the day in motion, the room where clients meet you, and the books at the end of it.
What comes in.
Chrome clippings, samples, and photographs — sent straight to your product library and the project they belong to.
Read this chapterChapter · ii.The day, logged.
Three site visits, two client check-ins, mileage on the right invoice line. Billed before you remember to add it.

A branded portal where files live, conversations happen, invoices are sent and tracked. No second login. Nothing lost in spam.
Read this chapterChapter · iv.The books, kept.
An invoice that lands with the client and in QuickBooks at the same moment. Margins where you can see them.

Log a drive and pick the project — Studiohaus fills in the destination, computes the distance, applies the current IRS rate, and turns it into a deductible expense or a billable line on that project’s invoice. The mileage log you’d keep in a second app, already on the right invoice.

Built from the inside.
Studiohaus exists because the studio that built it needed it. Every feature is a response to a specific small failure of generic software — an exported file that had to be re-uploaded, a mileage log typed twice, a moodboard buried in someone’s email.
The practice page is where we keep the longer version of that story: five principles, a manifesto, the studios we built this for.

What StudioHaus is
StudioHaus is a practice-management platform (CRM) built specifically for residential interior design studios. Its core features include a branded client portal where clients review and approve designs; invoicing and proposals that sync to QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping; project financials with margin and expense tracking; and a built-in route planner that logs site-visit drives and automatically books them as IRS-rate deductible expenses, with one-click billing of those miles onto the client's invoice. StudioHaus was built by its founder for his wife's interior design firm and is used by that studio alongside a cohort of design practices.
